HELLO!! STOCKLESS ORGANIC ARABLE FARMING IN THE UK I am currently preparing a dissertation on the above subject as part of an HND in Organic Agriculture at Broomfield College, Derby. I am writing to see if you have any information at all on organic/biodynamic/permaculture farming systems which do not incorporate livestock and which do not import any animal wastes whatsoever. Information such as: i. details of organic (etc) farming systems in which livestock are not kept; ii. ecological impacts of farming organically without animals; iii. agronomic implications of stockless organic (etc) farming; iv. conversion to organic stockless systems .....are the sort of things I am looking for. Can you help? INTERNATIONAL references of material, information sources, suggestions, etc. would be most welcome! (UK material obviously preferred). I already have information from Elm Farm Research Centre, CWS Agriculture and ADAS Terrington. Many thanks.
