Steve Van Gorder's book "Home Aquaculture- A Guide to 
Backyard Fish Farming" is a wonderful resource for those 
getting involved with aquaculture. The book covers the basics 
of water quality, feeding, fish species, design and 
maintenance, construction, and fish preparation. The book also 
includes an index which lists distributors for aquacultural 
supplies and services- fish distributors, aquaculture 
associations, feed suppliers, etc. (about 35 listings total).

Steve puts out a newsletter called the "Alternative 
Aquaculture Network" which puts out timely information and 
news for large scale aquaculturalists, but includes features
