Subject: the issue of "macromolecules" in your welcomed post on humus, etc.

	Dr. Dave Hubbell suggests that folks interested in the macromolecule
absorption by plants refer back to the old classic text, _Ecology of Soil-
Borne Plant Pathogens, Prelude to Biological Control,_ edited by K. F.
Baker and W. C. Snyder.  Second printing was in 1970.  

	Refer specifically to pages 156-157, 167 - pectinase, 168, 199
and 248.
