Subject: salad mix

Thanks for the many helpful replies to my salad-mix drying quest.  The
simplest and cheapest technology involves spinning the mix overhead in mesh
laundry bags or burlap sacks.  The washing-machine spin cycle idea came up
often; we did try this once but got salad mush.  Since we need our washer
for clothes we're not able to tinker with it to make it more hospitable to
salad mix.
