Operating systems

In addition to a large amount of experience with Windows and Mac workstations, I have installed the Linux operating system on four different x86 machines, and installed Solaris 2.4 on a SPARCstation 2 for use as an multicast router.

I have worked with or am currently working with Solaris versions 2.4, 2.5 beta, and 2.5FCS on a variety of Sun Sparc machines, including the SparcServer 1000 and 1000E. I am also assisting in the beta test of an UltraSparc server. I am very comfortable with several different flavors of Linux, notably the Slackware and Red Hat distributions.
