Can anyone tell me which NT document contains the greatest number of
participles? Many thanks.

Hi Ted,

Did a search on participles in BibleWorks 3.5 with all the wildcards turned on and got the following:

Acts--1270; Luke--1047; Mat--915; Mark--558; John--488; Rev--403; Heb--314; Rom--239; 2Co--197; 1Co--178; 1Pe--98; 2Pe-- 89; Eph--85; Gal--82; 1Ti--78; Jam--67; Col--63; 1Th--58; 1Jo--58; 2Ti--52; Phi--51; Jud--34; Tit--31; 2Th--25; 2Jo--12; 3Jo--11; Phm--7

Pound for pound and ounce for ounce Mark gets my vote even though he doesn't have as high a count. maybe some of the folks with Accordance and Gramcord would like to take a shot at it.
