I've been a "lurker" and am a new bgreeker.

I've struggled with that periphrastic in 2:8,9 and have been unable to
improve
on the KJV in
good, idiomatic English. I greatly appreciate your sharing your efforts.

I am a volunteer police chaplain and am teaching a small class using Davis
and
transitioning into Dana and Mantey. Can anyone suggest the name of a
workbook
in 1 John?
