John 8:58 (Does anybody have anything NEW to say?)

The thread on John 8:58 has been a very interesting one, gratifying in (a)
some new material brought to bear upon it that's been missing from some
previous even longer discussions of the passage, and (b) the amicability of
the exchanges. It does appear to me, however, that the messages are getting
repetitious of arguments already stated pretty clearly already. I don't see
any reason to shut down the thread if someone has something NEW to
contribute to the argument, but there seems little point in reiteration of
arguments already offered in response to objections that have also already
been offered.
