There are many places where the word KOSMOS does not literally mean every
single person in the world, such as in John 12:19
IDE hO KOSMOS OPISW AUTOU APHLQEN
But it does seem the height of eisegesis to say that KOSMOS in John 3:16
means "the Christians."
