tw Craig, cairein,

It would actively sensitize them to Greek 'style', from the beginning.

Recognising word order patterns and their FUNCTIONS,
the demoting of participial clauses around main verbs,
the backgrounding with aspects,
the explicit use of various ways of referring to participants in a text
(name, 'the'+name, a noun, 'the'+noun, pronoun, article alone, verbal
concord, 'null'.),
the functions of various connectors, like de versus kai, versus, oun, te,
and null,
questions of unit chunks (paragraphs), internal structure and their
boundaries.
These are the things Discourse analysis is made of.
