The future generally is looking at "simple events" and certainly does NOT
regularly or generally look at events that are/will be "in-process". the
future is more commonly "perfective"/"aoristic"/"simple" than not.
As for aorist indicative? It is the simple past. The little augment thingy
keeps both the imperfect and the aorist indicative separate from the
present.
All the others: subjunctive, participle, infinitive, imperative, YES they
are positively, primarily aspectual. Beginning Greek students would be
worlds ahead in they never heard such a misleading term as a "present"
infinitive, or a "present" imperative.
The Greek aspect system is quite developed and quite different from English
and quite different from Hebrew.
Between Greek and Hebrew, Greek is the more distinctly aspectual language.
That becomes so clear when dealing with Semitisms in the Gospels or with
the LXX and MT.
