I think I would agree with this; the Greek text would certainly admit our
understanding hH AGAPH TOU PATROS in the sense of either an objective or a
subjective genitive (realizing these are interpretative categories rather
than something inherent in the structure), but I think there's evidence in
the Johannine text that the AGAPH is reciprocal when properly based.
