[b-greek] Mt. 16:22

Mt. 16:22: I don't understand how the NIV gets "Never, Lord," and the KJV
gets "Be it far from Thee, Lord," out of hLEWS SOI, KURIE. Is there an
idiom here I don't understand? Both the NASB and NRSV have "God forbid it,
Lord," but shouldn't it be something like "Let [God] be gracious to You,
Lord"?

Thanks once again.
