A non-generic use of any noun can only be employed in a
non-generic CONTEXT. The issue would be whether or not the writer
has developed a context wherein non-generic or generic usages
can function.
If you hold to a non-generic use in vss 26-33, you would have to
demonstrate that verses 34ff are a PART OF that section.
