Consensus Division I Player of the Year. Led UMass to
             the Final Four.
Comments:
Camby made great strides in improving his offense
this season. He's a versatile player, who's capable
of playing all three front-court positions.
Summary:
Camby might be the first player selected.
More POOP(Scout: pctall)
Marcus has always been a presence on the defensive end. But
what position does he play in the NBA? Small forward-his
dribbling skills aren't that impressive. PForward-needs upper
boby strength. Let's now ever mention the Center position. His
offensive game improved a lot this past season. Was a clutch
performer. Very intelligent ball player.

             Third Team AP All-American.
Comments:
He's a quick jumper. He needs to add more post moves
and get more comfortable playing with his back to the
             basket.
Summary:
Wright is a tremendous athlete, who'll need to refine
his skills. Should be selected in the 5-8 range of the
             first round.
MORE POOP(Scout: Eric Opperman)
Lorenzen Wright came to the University of Memphis as a player expected to rebound and
defend, and leave the rest to David Vaughn. Wright emerged early in his freshman season
as an offensive force he wasn't supposed to be. He finishes as the University of
Memphis's 7th all-time leader in blocked shots, trailing 5 4-year players and a 3-year
player(Vaughn). He was the 3rd sophomore in school history to reach 1000 points(the
other 2 were Keith Lee and Elliot Perry), and the 5th 2nd-year player to score 1000
points(the others were Lee, Perry, Larry Finch, and Anfernee Hardaway). He has a good
15-foot jumper, but outside that, he isn't very accurate. He has a 37.5-inch vertical
leap, allowing him to get up higher than most people. He played 1170 minutes his
freshman season, and was probably close to or higher than that this past year. He is
very good in the open floor, and he will outrun the majority of the centers and power
forwards he plays against. In 64 career games with the Tigers, Wright scored in 63,
and had double-digits in scoring in 53 to 55 games. He had 10 or more rebounds 15 times
his freshman season and probably about 20 times his sophomore season. ONly weighing 230
pounds, Wright needs to get a little more meat on his bones, but he looks a lot stronger
than he did his freshman season. A semi-liability may be free-throw shooting, where he
is a 63.3% career shooter. However, he has shown flashes of great free-throw shooting
where he goes 80 to 90% for a few games, then goes back to 50%. When he was on national
TV, he was even better than normal, averaging 15.4 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.1 blocks, and
62% field goal pct. as a freshman when on national TV. While I don't have game-by-game
stats for this year with me, I can say they were as good or better than last year's.
Despite facing constant double-teams as a sophomore , he conssistently pured in 10 to 20
points and 8 to 15 rebounds per game. He should go high in the first round, I see him
going 6th to Dallas, but any team lacking a power forward or center after Marcus Camby
is taken will most likely at least take a strong look at Wright.

Comments:
Walker is young and inexperienced, but he has a lot of
potential. He has a good build, and can be a outstand-
ing shot-blocker. He needs to improve his offensive

POOP (Scout: Eiro Monitz )
Jermaine O'Neal is a very athletic forward (chris morris-like athletic
ability), with skills both of a small forward and a power forward.
He reminds me a little of Cliff Robinson, an athletic big guy who can
play at three positions, can score inside but also able to step outside
and take big forwards off the dribble (he's very quick for his size, and
is also a great runner).

O'Neal long arms and great leaping ability, which makes his a force
defensivelly.
Offensively, he has ways to go: his jumper isnt good at the moment, he'll
have trouble scoring on the blocks since he's not strong enough to pound
people into deep post positions (even NBA small forwards can outmuscle
him)...
He's very weak physically at this stage, and will never have shaquille
O'Neal's frame, but he has great body, with potential to be very strong
and muscular.
MORE POOP(Scout: Owen P O'Malley)
General Info:
O'Neal is awaiting the results of his college entrance
exams. Therefore, he may withdraw from the draft.
Comments:
O'Neal has good skills, but he needs time to mentally
             and physically mature.

Summary:
O'Neal is likely to be selected in the 15-25 range
             of the first round.

POOP (Scout: Phil Bedard )
Look at the players that 'Tide has produced over the past few years:
Antonio McDyess, Robert Horry, Keith Askins, Derrick McKey, etc. --- and
you can out two and two together and figure out that Rogers is a good
athlete. After the departure of Antonio McDyess, Jason Caffey, and Jamal
Faulkner last year, Roy Rogers finally made it into the 'Tide's starting
lineup this season and came up big. Even in a limited role, Rogers always
showed that he could block shots. This year, with more playing time, Rogers
proved that there was more to his game.

Rogers' long arms, quick leaping ability, and good timing make him a
fantastic shot blocker with the ability to single handedly destroy an
opposing offense. His quickness around the basket also serves him well as a
offensive rebounder.

Rogers' biggest drawback is his lack of offense. His offense is
pretty much limited to putbacks and short jumpers. He hasn't yet shown the
ability to score on a consistent basis from the low block. However, his
quick feet and solid hands might turn him into a decent offensive player
with time and experience. In order to make the adjustment to the NBA, Rogers
will also need to bulk up his skinny frame.

In the NBA, Rogers might make it as an 8th or 9th man coming off the
bench to provide help on defense. He reminds me a bit of Theo Ratliff of the
Pistons from last year's draft.
More POOP(Scout: pctall )
Rogers is an exceptional defensive player. Has proven he can play
against bigger players and NBA players (A. McDyess and J.Caffey).
His offense improved greatly from junior year to senior year when
he became the first option. People are comparing him to A. McDyess
but I think the comparision should be to A. Mourning. Small for
the Center position but not mobile enough for the Power Forward
position. Offensive seemed to of had problems when he was double
teamed. One on One, he seemed to measure up the defender very well.
Defensively will be small against the 5 best centers, but no
guards or forwards will drive the lane without being challenged.
MORE POOP(Scout: Owen P O'Malley)
General Info:
Rogers was a reserve behind Antonio McDyess and Jason
Caffey before he had the opportunity to start as a
senior. He had two triple-doubles(points, rebounds,
             and blocks) this season.
Comments:
A terrific shot-blocker. Rogers has improved
offensively. He likes to shoot hook shots.
Summary:

Rogers may be considered this year's version of
Antonio McDyess. He could be a lottery pick.

POOP(Scout: Joel Tchao)
I didn't see much of Ben Davis for his first two years, as he
transferred from Kansas and then disappeared into the JC ranks.
Reappearing the PAC-10, he finally developed into a consistent inside
force for the latter half of his senior year.

Skills: Davis is a fearsome rebounder. Although he is a bit of a
tweener (6-8 I believe), he has an instinct for great positioning and
getting the rebound. He also has a decent inside game, with putbacks
and short jump shots. However, he needs to become more aggressive
mentally. He finally became consistent when Joseph Blair was
sidelined. But at that point, he was Arizona's only inside game, and
could be double-teamed. This is where he had no clue as to find the
open man, and as a result, threw away the ball a lot when he tried to
pass. He also has no outside shot.

Outlook: Somewhat similar to Corliss Williamson when he came out, but
is a little taller, which may appeal to some teams who need a backup
power forward. Second round hopeful.

Blair had his senior season cut short when he was
             ruled academically ineligible.
Comments:
He improved his stock at Nike Desert Classic. Scouts
were impressed when he reported 20 pounds lighter than
what he weighed while playing at Arizona. He averaged
15 ppg, 8 rpg, and was selected to the all-tournament
             team.
Summary:
Blair seems to be determined in his quest for a pro
             career.
POOP(Scout: Donny Kim)
looks like a fatter Sean Rooks. His strengths are a soft touch around
the basket and much improved post moves from early in his college
career. His weaknesses seem to be lack of footspeed, lack of shot
blocking, and the propensity for getting silly fouls.

POOP(Scout: Michael W Kim)
Othella Harrington came to Georgetown in 1992 as arguably the number one
prospect in the entire country. He seemed the complete big man, and
ready to carry the torch in the long line of great Georgetown centers.
He did that freshman year, leading the team in scoring and rebounding
while winning Big East rookie of the year honors. It only went downhill
from there.

First his weaknesses. Despite his size, he is not much of a banger. He
has some post moves, but his lack of aggressiveness showed this year
when he was constantly overpowered on the blocks and outrebounded,
though part of that was due to the presence of Jerome Williams who is
possibly the best pure rebounder in the draft. The addition of Iverson
didn't help, as the Big O is a half court player who had a tough time
(especially last year) adjusting to the full court running game. To his
credit, much of his lower numbers can be attributed to the fact that he
was the ONLY low post player the Hoyas had and (oddly enough) the key to
there offense, so collapsing defenses concentrated on him denying him
room to operate.

Despite all this though, I love the Big O, and he has a great upside.
His mental game and positioning is excellent. He does have low post
moves and in the usually toned down, half-court, man-to-man defense
world of the NBA, he should flourish. He ain't fleet of foot, but can
move more than adequately, and as I said, the depressed numbers can be
mostly attributed to the reactions of defenses and the change of game
style Allen Iverson brought in with him. As a classic power forward he
is a good solid mold, and I expect him to do very well in the NBA.
More POOP(Scout: Dan McQuillen)
A very strong rebounder who combines outstanding shooting talent
with both an ability to draw fouls and consistent free throw
shooting. Had 6 double-doubles his Senior season to bring
his career total to 35.

Inconsistent at times at establishing inside position and
aggressively moving to the basket. His offensive game should thrive
in the NBA where he will not face consistent double and triple
teaming at the PF position and should be able to team up with a PG
whose first option is to feed the ball to scorers. An aggressive
defender and team player. Above average shot blocking skills.
More POOP(Scout: Donny Kim)
a 6'7" player who will not play center in the NBA like he did at
Georgetown. Great outside touch and shot. Will and can make the 3
point shot in the pros. That will have to be his strength because his
post moves pump faking 5 times in the paint and praying for the
defender to jump. Won't block any shots, is a decent rebounder, and a
competitor who wants to win badly.

POOP(Scout: Joel Tchao)
Living on the West Coast, I don't see many Drexel games, but what I
saw of them and Rose in the NCAA Tournament really impressed me. Rose
and the Dragons first defeated Memphis and then put a scare into
Syracuse before falling in the fourth quarter.
Malik Rose may be extremely undersized (6-7) for a center, but he has
a huge heart. In the first game, he dominated Lorenzen Wright, who is
an inside talent in his own right, and in the Syracuse game, he
collected 10+ rebounds, even with an injured ankle (I think).

Skills: Rose can rebound. Just look at the fact that he averaged
nearly 12 rebounds his entire career. Although he did this in a
smaller conference, he held his own against Wright (excellent
rebounder) who is by far the taller man. Rose is also a very good
passer, with the ability to find the open man and cutters while he is
positioned on the low post. His only problem is his height. He is
short enough to scare away most teams from trying him at PF, and he
does not have SF skills. He *is* a very smart player, and maximizes
his talent (low-post play, passing). He improved his FG% every year,
although he has not really refined his inside moves.

Outlook: Even with his big height disadvantage, I still think Rose
could be a steal for the team who picks him.

POOP(Scout: Owen P O'Malley)
General Info:
Hendrickson is a solid all-around player, who also
is a pitcher for the baseball team.
Comments:
He'll be able to draw defenders away from the basket
to guard against his outside shot.
Summary:
Has the talent to be a two-sport player.
More POOP(Scout: Russ Smith)
Strengths: Fiery competitor, came back way too early with a broken hand
this year and was still the best player on the team by far, the injury
cost him the POY in the Pac-10. Can shoot, can score inside and is a solid
all around player. Good athlete, considered a ML baseball prospect as a
pitcher.

Weaknesses: A bit too small to play inside in the NBA, probably not quick
enough to be a full-time SF in the NBA. Needs to improve his range and
show scouts he can guard SF's.

Comments: Was a very good defender in college because he's very physical,
gave Ed O'Bannon fits early in his career, played Abdur-Rahim tough this
past year. He's a definite 100% type of guy. No idea where baseball fits
into the equation, allegedly throws 90MPH but hasn't ever concentrated on
baseball.

POOP(Scout: Jazzy J)
It may seem strange that a guy who didn't even start would be pro
prospect to most, but for those who followed Kentucky and the wealth
of talent they had on their team, they understand that Mark Pope is
indeed an NBA type of prospect. Mark Pope started out his career
in fine fashion, finishing his freshman year at Washington as the
Pac-10's freshman of the year in 91-92. He built upon that year
his sophomore season, again finishing with solid numbers. However,
with the departure of coach Lynn Nance, Pope grew disenchanted with
the direction the program was heading and decided to transfer to
        Kentucky.

During the year of the requisite year off, Pope impressed coaches
and teammates alike with his spirited and rugged play in practice.
Projected as a starter his first year in the program in 94-95,
Pope started out as such, and for most of his career at UK, played
at center for the Wildcats. This past season saw Pope mostly come
off of the bench, but he roughly saw the same amount of minutes as
        the previous season.

Mark Pope offensively has a pretty nice game. Nice soft shot which
extends out to the 3-pt line, an inside game that features a few
moves. Pope's outside touch is attractive to NBA scouts/teams --
his range extends out to that of the college 3-pt line, and he can
certainly hit the shot when left open. Inside, Pope can outdo
smaller players, but does have problems with bigger ones. Often
times he'll take the ball strong to the hole, only to see his shot
rejected into the second row. Inbetween, Pope has a solid mid-range
shot. With all that said, however, Pope was a mystery from the FT
line, especially in his senior season at Kentucky. At Washington,
he led the Pac-10 in FT shooting. But at Kentucky, he sometimes
was wildly inconsistent from the line. Most likely, something
mental that can be worked out.

Defensively, Pope holds his own inside. He has a strong body and
isn't afraid to use it. Pope hits the boards pretty well and can
block a few shots. He isn't the most athletic guy in the world, but
can surprise on occasion (as shown by the alley-oop dunks he threw
down in the NCAA tournament). Pope is a fair passer.

Positively, Pope can draw some comparisons to Frank Brickowski.
He'll likely play PF in the pros, with some backup center in a
pinch. His aggressiveness is much of the same type that Andrew
DeClercq had for Florida, and that won him a 2nd round selection.
Pope figures to be in the same boat.

Strengths: Probably should have been the POY in the Pac-10 after
Hendrickson got hurt, better overall year than Abdur-Rahim. Strong inside
player who dominated the glass after Joe Blair became ineligible, kept
Arizona in the conference race. Solid defender at the college level, tough
as nails.

Weaknesses: Probably a bit of a tweener, basically played C his last year
in college and was much more effective after Blair left the team and he
was able to become the only post threat, lacks an outside game. Sort of a
poor man's Oakley but has to develop the jumpshot like Oak did. Can't jump
a lick so NBA PF's may play over his head.

Comments: Davis played 2 years at Arizona after having cups of coffee with
Kansas, Florida and a JC, resurrected his career this year, but will
scouts be scared by his early vagabond days in college. Really a small C
but had a great senior year.

POOP(Scout: Owen P O'Malley)
General Info:
Millard had a mediocre career at Iowa. He did have a
solid senior season, and he was named to the All-
Tournament team at both the Portsmouth Invitational
             and the Nike Desert Classic.
Comments:
Millard is a intriguing pro prospect. He can score
down low or on the perimeter, and he's a better
             athlete than people realize.
Summary:
Millard has improved his stock to first round range.
