Scouting Report: Elgin Booth [ewbooth@christa.unh.edu] |

Raef Lafrentz is the best prospect in this draft period. He is a classis NBA power forward with a soft touch, in the mold of David Robinson. He's a big lefty who's athletic and intelligent. Has a hook shot, a turnaround jumper, and a variety of ways to score down low. He would have been the 2nd pick in last year's draft. Also a good rebounder who is not the most intimidating guy, but will not back down. He played for a great school for four years against good competition. He's a consistent player who should be counted on for 18 points and 10 rebounds night in-night out in the NBA. Could play center if needed to, but better suited for power forward. Has a lot of experience. Only downer is that he has been injured a few times in his college career, but as long as he continues to add strength, it shouldn't be a problem. |
