Scouting reports

Scout: MH [mkhernandez@earthlink.net]

  • put up good numbers (19.6ppg and 10.1 rpg) his senior season in the Big Ten against constant double and triple teams.
  • Wonderful yet still fundamental moves in the post. He really plays very well with his back to the basket
  • spent the previous summer at the Bigman's camp in Hawaii. After one day in the college ranks, he was quickly moved into the Pro ranks
  • he is very smart and you won't find a harder worker
  • good rebounder and solid passer out of the double team
  • his body is ready for the NBA

the downside:

  • he is a little slow running up and down the court
  • he is not very athletic. You won't see him flying over people for dunks or getting a lot of block shots
  • because of his lack of athleticism, he does not have a tremendous upside. He probably will be a solid starter or a good back-up center.
