Michael Ruffin is the epitomy of the guy who does the dirty work and doesn't get a lot of fanfare.
Ruffin makes his home on the low post quite well, especially at the defensive end. He is very strong, making him a great rebounder and a very good post defender. He has consistently played well against good post players. He loves to knock around the opposing players who venture into the post area, whether they have the ball, are trying to get an entry pass, or are going for a rebound.

Ruffin is not a very good offensive player, however. His offense is still very much a work in progress, as it is limited to shots close to the basket.

Ruffin should be a second round pick. He will be a nice reserve for some team, and should last a long time because of his work ethic and desire to do the dirty work down low.
