Additional Information
Missed a chance to really surge in the draft by shooting the ball well. He didn't so he's still in the first round but probably really late.

Strengths: Who said small schools don't produce NBA caliber players..... Hassell has a very impressive all around game as evident by the fact that he recorded 1 triple double this year and several times came close to achieving the feat again ..... Rebounds well in the paint...... Able to recognize double teams pass out of them... Has become a descent perimeter shooter from about 22 ft and in with some consistency .... Loves to drive to the basket from the baseline usually off a spin move or facing the basket.... Can penetrate and dish better than most shooting guards in the nation.... Has a still evolving post up game that he uses when his jumper isn't failing.... Good free throw shooter who will make you pay if you foul him..... Really can get hot from the 3-point line in a hurry and erupt on any defense....

Weakness: Biggest question facing Hassell is can he make that switch from Ohio Valley Conference after all how many NBA players do you know from that conference ???? At this point not much of a defender but then again how many NBA rookies are good defenders in there first year.... Perimeter shooting while improved must continue to be worked on, as at times it can be streaky..... Needs to work on being a better spot up jump shooter as of right now he is only comfortable shooting of the dribble or driving in the lane....Can he make the metal switch form small forward to shooting guard ?......
