Don't Stop Moving Email List

Don't Stop Moving is a quarterly newsletter devoted to running. In
addition to the regular newsletter, there are occasional supplements
devoted to various aspects of the sport -- including literary pieces
such as poems and essays.

DSM is devoted to helping runners optimize their performance and
enjoyment of the sport. This is not a technical journal, but rather
an accessibly written newsletter calling upon the experience of
physiologists; those who run at higher levels than mere mortals; and
the author's 24 years of competitive running experience, study and
writing talents; then applying it to the needs of other runners.

The goal of the Web site, the newsletter and its publisher is to
provide athletes of all abilities with the information they need
to use their own natural intelligence to put together their own
optimal personal training program. This is accomplished through
the usually concise, sometimes acerbic, information presented by
the newsletter and other services.

To begin receiving Don't Stop Moving, send an e-mail
message to Majordomo@teleport.com with the message (no subject):

        subscribe ds-moving

If you wish, send information on your location on planet Earth direct
to the business, pmotion@teleport.com. That's for my children's long-
running geography project. DSM is read by 850 runners in 32
countries on every continent but Antarctica (and we're hoping that'll
join the list soon).

Those who subscribe between now and January 20 will receive the New Year's
edition within 48 hours of subscribing.

In addition to the featured article(s), the last dozen or two lines of
each issue of DSM are devoted to updates on the business that publishes
the newsletter, Perpetual Motion. (The idea, of course, being that the
newsletter has to be paid for.) In keeping with Internet traditions,
this is kept brief and tasteful (I hate hard sells myself), with notes
on how you can find out more about Perpetual Motion.

By the way, the Web site contains links to a dozen or so other running
sites on the Internet -- at least a few of which should be of interest
to just about any runners.

Thanks for your time. And Don't Stop Moving.
