"Tin Cup," starring Kevin Costner, Don Johnson, and Renee Russo (Want proof that I'm actually in the movie?). In the early 90s, I was a huuuuuge Boston Red Sox fan. I'm still a fan, but I mean I was a FAN. I was at Fenway for the last game of the 1991 season. The A.L. East Division pennant was up for grabs until they clinched it on the last out of the 9th inning with an awesome catch by the Right Fielder, Tom Brunansky. I guess you had to be there, with your heart stopped, to really appreciate that moment, because I don't hear a lot of people talking about it as a great moment in Red Sox history. I think it was. Too bad I don't have a picture of me standing and hollering on top of the Sox dugout at the end of the game. I did take some good photos at that game and others; maybe I'll scan them in someday. |
