This is a 10x20 foot mural on the levee of the Arkansas river in Pueblo, Colorado. It is about 200 yds north of the 6th St. bridge if anyone cares to go looking. It is basically a large reproduction of my velvet Elvis.
The mural project in its entirety is now the longest mural in the
world. It just got in the Guiness book this year. I do not
know how long it
actually is, but it's pretty cool. Once a year, usually in May, anyone
can go to Pueblo and paint anything they want. All the paint is donated,
so all you have to bring is brushes and stuff.
(Thanks go to Scott Dory, the artist who painted this Elvis mural, for sending me the photographs and the information about the mural.)
