SITE SUITABILITY ANALYSES FOR POTENTIAL PROJECTS

SITE SUITABILITY ANALYSES FOR POTENTIAL PROJECTS

Landscape architects, architects, and planners are trained to conduct site suitability analyses for potential construction projects. Tracts of land can be analyzed to determine which part of the land would be most suitable for a project or what the land is most suitable for (or whether the land is suitable at all for building). Also, the N.C. Department of Environment, Health, and Natural Resources Natural Heritage Program can inform you of whether the land is home to rare or endangered plant or animal species.
