What do you mean, how well can it be done?

By "how well can it be done", I mean that this project can either be a bunch of graphics slapped on a page surrounded by text --

-- or it can be a work of art.

I'm not looking for stories about the State Capitol, unless they involve something more than bland history. Don't assume that a story about downtown Raleigh at three in the morning would not be interesting to other people, or a tale of eating at a restaurant in Calabash on Easter Sunday would be boring to folks other than your friends.

I'm talking about North Carolina. I'm talking about a state where people are fiercely proud of their origins and where oddities and curiousities abound.

The only request I would make of any contributors would be that their writing is clear and concise (more of a narrative than anything else) and that their images, if any, relate explicitly to their story. (For now -- perhaps an archive of condiments found in Kelly, North Carolina, could be possible??)

That's all. The sky is the limit. Grab yer cameras, some friends, and create some great stuff.

I'll even write a note for your teachers. :)
