1996 National Alfalfa Symposium

The 1996 27th NATIONAL ALFALFA SYMPOSIUM will be held December 9-10, 1996 at
the Catamaran Hotel, San Diego, California, just steps from ocean beaches.

Special TOUR OF IMPERIAL VALLEY AGRICULTURE December 8,1996.   
Special DINNER CRUISE OF MISSION BAY on a restored Sternwheller, December 9,
1996

Sponsored by the Certified Alfalfa Seed Council
and the University of California Alfalfa Workgroup.

This is the first time that the National Alfalfa Symposium has been held in
any western state. Come learn about irrigated alfalfa production, and visit
with colleagues and growers from throughout the United States.  Topics
include: Economics, Marketing, production practices, variety selection,
irrigation techniques, grazing, utilization, forage quality, nutrition, and
policy issues such as wildlife and alfalfa.

Bring your family and visit the many attractions in San Diego, including the
World-Class San Diego Zoo, Fabulous Restaraunts, Sea World, or a trip to
Mexico.  Or, rent a catamaran boat from right outside your hotel room!
