Beginning Fall 1998 or Spring 1999

We are seeking a motivated and responsible individual to work on an
animal waste management project.  This project involves the use of swine
lagoon effluent on forage grasses.  Special focus on the effect of
effluent application on soil nutrients and heavy metals.  Seeking a
student with background in agronomy, crops, or soils.   Experience in
conducting field and lab studies is preferred.  Actual thesis /
dissertation project to be determined by student.  

Assistantship ($14,838 / MS; $16,428 / PhD)  includes tuition remission
