The extension agent in Chatham County North Carolina (Mark O'Farrell, email
marko@chatham.ces.ncsu.edu) asked for help in getting some information on
small scale drying facilities. He is looking to help small farmers dry
tomatoes and other vegetables in North Carolina climate. He thought that
perhaps using a small greenhouse with black plastic and some fans would
do the trick. Any suggestions or comments, please send directly to him
