What utter rubbish. For a start evolution is a natural process,
genetic engineering is an intervention on a huge and unpredictable
sale. Second, the genetic engineering so far undertaken with plants
is not to produce a stronger or better adapted species but to make life
easier for the chemical companies. How can you say that making soya
resistant to a particular make of herbicide is evolution?

I agree with other posts here, it is meddling on a huge scale, we do
not know what the consequences will be. It is more like playing God
than anything else.
