No it is not a good analogy, it is a prticularly stupid one.
Genetic engineering is very new, nobody but nobody knows what the
long term side effects will be and there will be an effect.
There is also the matter of choice. We are having food containing
GE soya flour forced upon us with little or no chance to find
alternatives.
