We invite you to explore "Agenda 2000" at our Sustainable development
web-site.

http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/english/sustain/page03/a2000_2.htm

"Agenda 2000" is the first Sustainable Development Strategy of the Department
of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT), and sets out the
Department's action plan to achieve its sustainable development objectives
through to the year 2000. The Strategy profiles the work of the Department,
defines its SD objectives, identifies related issues, and presents a plan of
action, including timelines wherever possible. It is the Department's first
effort in an ongoing process of change. The Department recognizes that real
change requires time to take root; it requires an investment of energy and
substantial efforts of learning and continuous improvement.

We encourage you also to utilize our "Talk Back" page to post messages to us.
