I agree with the porposal. Well managed animals are integral to a
holistic and sustainable ag practice. The contribution of poultry, fish,
and livestock, and yes, even insects is measured in more ways than their
value as a cash crop. They help recycle plant residues, control weeds and
pest insects, replenish soil fertility, and create irreplacable life
experience for young people growing up on the farm.
