Re: Request information about the Sustainable Agric. Network

The Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN) is the information and outreach
arm of the USDA Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE)
program. SARE is a grants program, with funds available to researchers,
extension, nonprofits, and to farmers themselves. SAN tries to
disseminate information from the SARE program, and information about
sustainable agriculture in general, using this listserv (sanet-mg), as
well as print and electronic media.

I'll tell you how to subscribe, below. I will also forward additional
information (to Duncan only) about our publications.

SAN's Web site is at http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/san/

You can learn all about SAN and SARE, search the 1000 SARE projects funded
in the past 10 years, download calls for proposals, access many of our
publications, link to other SARE web sites, and read past messages posted
to sanet-mg (among other great information).

Please feel free to contact me directly if you have further questions
about SAN or SARE.

To subscribe, send a message to:

     almanac@ces.ncsu.edu

In the BODY of the message type ONLY:

     subscribe sanet-mg

Be sure to save the instructions that are sent to you. You'll need them.

Please contact me if you have any further questions, and welcome to sanet!
