There is a company called California Artichoke and Vegetable
Growers Corporation in Castroville, California (Castroville
is "the artichoke capital of the world" according to their
banner on the highway) 408-633-2492. There is another
group called "Castroville Artichoke People", 408-633-2144. In
addition, the Artichoke Advisory Board is P.O. Box 747, Castroville,
CA 95012, Phone 408-633-4411.
You could also contact any county extension agent in that
area.
