The following text describes a new master of arts program that I direct at
Antioch Univeristy in Yellow Spring, Ohio. It's called the Program on
Environment & Community. It's designed for a wide variety of environmental
practitioners--i.e., not solely non-profit practitioners--but appeals
strongly to non-profit professionals and practitioners. The program is very
strongly oriented toward the public interest, although we do welcome private
sector students in order to make possible a broader perspective on, and more
powerful and ultimately constructive dialogue about, environment and
community issues.

"This is a 2-year, limited-residency, fully-accredited Master of Arts program
designed for working professionals living anywhere in the U.S. or
internationally who would prefer not to leave their jobs or move in order to
pursue a master's degree in the environmental field. Students attend three
2-week residency sessions, with all other studies done in your home
community."
