Description: The Econet Western Lands Gopher provides text files
environmental on land use issues which affect western
lands in the US. Examples include forests, wilderness,
public lands, rivers, mining, ecology, wildlife,
grazing, timber, agriculture, sustainable development,
and environmental justice.
Featuring reports and dispatches from the grassroots
and frontlines of the war in the west. Now serving
over 5,000 readers a month.
Access: The Econet Western Lands Gopher Service (WLG) is a FREE
service to anyone with Internet access.
Econet and all IGC network subscribers can access the
Gopher or the read-only conferences western.lands and
western.library. Some items are also carried in the
Econet conference - Idaho.Forests. There are links to
WLG from over 150 other WEB and gopher sites. We are
registered with INTERNIC. See 'fair use' policy below.
We are now serving over 5,000 readers a month!
Services: This is a moderated gopher. Contributions are encouraged
and can be sent for upload to: wlg@igc.apc.org
Uploads become accessible within 12-24 hours after
acceptance. All contributions must be * ascii * with a
column width not to exceed 70 characters. On line 1 of
your posting please give the title you want to appear in
the Gopher menu. See example below.

information at the front of the file. Items will NOT
be posted if they are from 'anonymous' or obviously
