North Carolina NetDay 96

All, especially the North Carolina crew and sunsite webfolks,

I'm John Wash, one of the webpersons for the Gaelic Language pages here on
sunsite. I'm also involved with North Carolina NetDay96, which is a
project to wire all of North Carolina's public (and private) schools,
scheduled for Sept. 14, 1996.

Sun and Cisco are getting involved, as are many other large corporations,
but we need help from everyone. Scott Anderson from Cisco suggested that
I contact the sunsite admins and request a link from the sunsite page to
the NCNetDay pages. I'm going to go one step further: I'd like to ask
all of you North Carolina people who maintain resources on sunsite to
do the same.

The NC NetDay96 page is at http://www.explornet.org, currently running
on a Linux machine but soon to be running on a SPARC 5 that Sun donated
to the project. If you want to make life easy for yourselves, you can
cut and paste the <A><IMG></A> code from http://www.explornet.org/links.html,
which will link your stuff to our pages.

If you're interested in helping with NetDay, please email
ncnd96@explornet.org. Pardon the interruption. We return you to your
regularly scheduled webgroup discussion.
