neXus means "connection" or "network." Since SOHO (Small Office Home Office) becomes popular, the creation of organic network deeply rooted in the local community is very important. The east side of city of Omiya consists of the small businesses and displays the intensive power. At the present, re-development plan of the east side of the Omiya station is proposed. However, it is difficult to re-develop the city which has been grown for a long period of time.
On the other hand, re-development on the cyber space can be easily done because there are no limitation in terms of property or physical reasons. We would like to consider the re-development on cyber space by seeing the "Saitama new urban project" which will be completed in 1999, internetworking and CATV infrastructure.
