Welcome to the Small Farm Resource! We have created this set of web pages to help dissiminate information of use to people with small farms or rural property. This is a cooperative effort. Most of the information here comes from other people. We are merely playing the part of the organizer and repository. As such, please carefully read our disclaimer.
Warning: The information contained in these web pages has not been verified for correctness. Much of the information contained herein is hearsay and may not be correct. Use the information from these pages only at your own risk!
That being said, please do your part to help us with these pages - share your information! In the below lists, many items have no associated document. If you have information to share in these (or existing) areas, by all means, send it to us (see email address at bottom of document). The 1995 Farm Bill will have a major impact on the agricultural sector, rural areas, the environment, the food purchasing power of low income people and the prices of agricultural commodities in general. A series of background papers have been prepared by an Extension task force and are available on the WWW thanks to the Agricultural Economics Department at the University of Nebraska. In addition to providing background information relevant to the 1995 farm bill we think it useful for extension to sponser an electronic forum on this important legislation. Therefore we have set up a WWW forum on the 1995 farm bill. The basis of the forum consists of the series of background papers. Comments and discussions are solicited on each of these documents. In addition new topics and background materials can be added by participants in this discussion. This discussion requires a form compatable WWW browser. The URL for the forum is: http://ag.arizona.edu/HyperNews/get/farmbill.html.
