Doesn't it just grow by bunging them in the ground?  It is often used for a
screening hedge here in Yass, Australia, where the temperature gets down to
-8 degrees Celsius (can't remember how that works out in Fahrenheit, but
that's a very heavy frost).  Of course, it is ratshit for keeping
herbivorous animals out :-)

You may need some soil from the roots of an existing tree to innoculate the
nitrogen-fixing nodules.

(I'm not an expert on tagasastebut if we all left it to the experts where
would we be?)
