The messages currently on SANET about the possibility and feasibility of
selling compost at farmers markets are enthusiastic in tone but have not
answered the question about ordinances.
Are there restrictions in place regarding the sale of composted organics?
While to concept of such marketing needs to be developed, the
accommodations that may have to be made to public health regulations
must be considered as well.
Which states have ordinances? Does anyone know and, if so, will you
post them for the group?
