Pesticide and Cancer conference
The Rachel Carson Council is hosting a Cancer and Pesticides conference on
Saturday October 26, 1996 from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm at the Pawtuxent Wildlife
Visitor Center in Laurel Maryland. The conference will bring together
scientists from various universities, the National Institutes of Health, the
National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, and other organizations
to discuss the associations between cancer ands pesticides. Dr. David
Pimentel will give the keynote address and Dr. Aaron Blair will present the

Dr. Pimentel is a Cornell Entymologist and has done wonderful research on the
health and environmental impacts of pesticides.
