Dear SANET folks: back in July I posted a message to help Gerald Hopkins,
a 70-year-old organic grower in south Muskoka, Ontario, CANADA, to find an
energetic person to co-manage, lease or take over a 5-acre organic market
garden. Gerald wants to pass along this farm.

This historic 100-acre farm, first tilled in 1870, could be converted to
more than 10-15 acres market garden, acres of root crops, plus field crops,
buckwheat, grains, Christmas trees, etc. The farm is near
Gravenhurst/Bracebridge in Ontario's cottage country'. Hopkins Berry Farm'
produces some of the sweetest strawberries in Muskoka.

Gerald needs a young person with imagination to integrate into the
cultivation and marketing for 1997 crop year and beyond. Available: pump
irrigation, tractors, cultivators, cutter mowers, tile drained, barn,
possible on-site housing. Further extensive details on request.

If this situation attracts you, please call Gerald Hopkins, Barkway,
Ontario, (705) 687-0765.
