There is a great book by Clive Ponting titled "A Green History of
the World". I just want to put "organic" into perspective. We, the
current world civilization, is the first to be primarily inorganic. The
history of "organic" goes back thousands of years across numerous
collapsed civilizations such as the Romans, Mesopotamia, etc. Just a
thought to think about as we struggle to understand "sustainability".
