Re: Albrecht Soil Debate

Professor Albrecht had an understanding of soils 50 years ago that most soil
scientists, let alone farmers, still haven't approached. We now have in
print about 1/3 of his life work in the form of four volumes of The Albrecht
Papers. We have also reissued his classic film on the human and animal
health consequences of partial and imbalanced soil fertilization, The Other
Side of the Fence, on video. For a more practical, working soil consultant's
point of view using the Albrecht system of soil balancing, look to Neal
Kinsey's Hands-On Agronomy. For information on any of these items contact:

As head of the University of Missouri's department of soils, he was an
amazingly prolific and insightful scientist who was ushered to the back of
the room when he refused to go along with toxic technology.
