Hello again:

One additional question. The article also suggested that if apple growers could
still use Alar, there would be less contamination of the apple juice or cider,
because the apples would stay on the trees longer. My impression is that
dropped apples were used in apple cider, even during the Alar era, although I
know very little about apples and cider. Is that true?
