I would like to add my voice to those who are advocating that the
sustainable ag list stays as one list. I am production oriented and
periodically ask questions to the list in my search for research
references, experimentation, and experience. Because this is my bias, I
would choose not to subscribe to a list devoted solely to the philosophical
issues of sustainable production. And hence I would miss all the great
exchange that does take place on those issues. I enjoy reading views on
subjects that never even occur to me to debate. I generally have nothing
to add, but just by reading the posts, I feel I am broadening my vision of
agriculture and the issues.
