BACTERIA COULD SPREAD TO POULTRY
Dec. 13/96
LANSING, Mich.-- Dr. H. Michael Chaddock of the Michigan Department of
Agriculture is quoted as saying that mycoplasma gallisepticum, found in wild
house finches, could pose an economic threat to Michigan's commercial turkey
and chicken industries, and that poultry producers can help protect their
animals from [it] by not feeding wild birds.
