GOAL: to identify key opportunities for joint action to promote sustainable
agriculture in Canada and globally.
Hosted by CUSO, a non-profit organization committed to social justice and
environmentally sensitive economic development around the world.

sustainable communities in Canada and globally.

community development workers to promote more sustainable agriculture
and food systems locally and globally

WHO WILL BE THERE (so far) Peruvian Network for Ecological Agriculture -
(RAE), Alternative Agriculture Network - Thailand, Canadian Organic
Growers, Ecological Farmers of Ontario, Foodlinks (IDRC), F.A.R.M.
Community Council (B.C.), Seeds of Survival Program USC, and many other
groups from across Canada and other countries.
COST: $10, $12 at the door, or pay what you can. Includes lunch and
refreshments.
DIRECTIONS: Ignatius Conference Centre is located 1 km north of Guelph on
Hwy. 6 North. Look for the joint sign for Loyola House and the Guelph
Centre for Spirituality on the west side of Hwy 6. It is 10 minutes walk
from the city bus stop at Canadian Tire at Woodlawn and Woolwich Street.
Red Car (tel:519-824-1701) offers airport limousine service.
ACCOMMODATION: Bed and breakfast is available at the Ignatius
Conference Centre for $38 single - please specify which nights and
include payment with your registration BEFORE JAN. 10TH; space is
limited. We can also provide info on other Guelph accommodation.
