re: Request for help

Hi -

Regarding your request for assistance -

Have you seen if there's a PAN (Pesticide Action Network) affiliate in your
area? Have you tried the PAN site on the Web? If not, these are great
resources for options to pesticides.

* Pesticide Action Network North America (PANNA), 116 New Montgomery, #810,
San Francisco, CA 94105. (415) 541-9140. Fax:(415) 541-9253. Email:
panna@panna.org. Web site: http://www.panna.org/panna/. Online mailing
list. Lots of international work.

Also some online resources on the Web -

ALTERNATIVES - www.alternativescom/libs/agbiopst.htm (then use your
browser's Find command)
UC IPM Pest Control Guide - wws.ipm.ucdavis.edu/. Includes alternatives,
plus pictures!

Two other resources that might be able to assist you -

* ATTRA (Appropriate Technology Transfer for Rural Areas). P.O. Box 3657,
Fayetteville AR 72702 (800) 346-9140. A great resource on commercial
sustainable ag.
* BIRC (Bio-Integral Resource Center), P.O. Box 7414, Berkeley, CA 94704;
phone (510) 524-2567; fax (510) 524-1758; email birc@igc.org. (or
birc@igc.apc.org??)

Hope this helps!
