September 14, on The Belvedere in Louisville, Kentucky, from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m.
Admission is free; tickets for taste testing will be sold on-site.

More than 40 of the best chefs in the region, working closely with more than 50 of

Festival, the area's largest one-day farmers' market.

Kentuckiana Fresh Markets will also be showcased.

"Our goal is to create public awareness about Ohio Valley agriculture, promote area chefs
and growers, and encourage the importance of buying and eating fresh, locally grown
produce," according to Dawn Ripley, chairperson of the Harvest Festival's steering
committee.

The Festival is one of the Mayor's Top 40 Events; Mayor Jerry Abramson is expected to
make an appearance.
